Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Carlisle, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Pennsylvania run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

DESSERT TOP TIER!!! I will literally go back just for the ice creams I tried their ube ice cream I’ve never had something so creamy and rich…. This place is underrated. Philippine food is not usually around here, I’ve only been to one other place. The service was great, sweet girl up front was very friendly and explained all the questions I asked. I like the vibes. Food was pretty good, I really like how cheap it was. For $17, I got a platter of food with xtras. Only $10 for a base and meat option.

First time trying Filipino food & it didn't disappoint! It is served buffet style from behind the counter. The server was very friendly & explained each dish as well as price points for what they offered. I did the ala carte for $17 (with tax) which included 3 main dishes, pancit (noodles) & lumpia (spring/egg roll). I had the adobo pork, spicy mango chicken & BBQ pork skewer. Everything tasted good & was very flavorful. It was later afternoon & seemed like the food had been sitting for a while. I'll try lunch next time when everything is fresh.
